No more babies. - Real Mum story on MoM

Next Thursday my twins will turn one. The time has flown it does not seem that long ago I was wondering if I was doing the right thing by having them was it fair to my other children, three had grown up and I was happy being the mother of a daughter at last.

Then 12th December everything changed we became a family of eight with the birth of our little darlings and my daughter was not the youngest any more but a big sister to two younger siblings. She was happy as she finally had a sister finally. The older boys were happy to see these babies and their mother safe. One was even happy to be sharing his birthday with them, was told it was a great birthday present.My husband was glad it was over all those months of being a single dad almost or as he saw it were over. Another young man to follow in his footsteps and another daughter to protect, but most of all getting his wife back.

The road has not been smooth and thankfully my older boys have enjoyed the experience of looking after their younger sibling, waiting for their brother to be old enough to do things with even passing him off as their own to the girls they dated. No mum did not agree with this one was glad of the baby sitters but not like that.

We are finally getting there as each day passes can not believe I have done this, in a time when I should be free of young children and maybe having grand children coming over. I am bringing up two delightful if sneaky children and enjoying life.

I have a long road ahead of me with everything been different not the young mum but an older one and one who is happy with her lot. HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY my darlings and to your older brother happy 27th hopefully many more to enjoy.

Happy birthday to ur twins and ur older son who is the same age as myself. I have the up most respect to u for choosing to be an older mum. My mother has 8 of us kids in total aswel but no twins we range frm the ages of 29 to 12. I’m the second eldest and so far only 3 of us have had kids. So my parents so far have 7 grand kids and 1 angle grandson (my first little boy) my parents had 5 girls and 3boys. My parents were concidering to have mother baby 8yrs ago til my sister came home and said she was pregnant so they decided they would leave it to us kids nw. I use to love helping out with my younger siblings when the were babies as I’m the second eldest. Nw I love being a mum to my own son as I’m a single parent I do everything but love every second of it.
