Hello!

I am currently 6 months pregnant and it has been a tough one to say the least.
I have not been feeling that wow I’m pregnant feeling I had with my first 2 bulbs due to all the issues and tiredness that I have had this time.
I was wondering if anyone had any little tips like self pampering that can be done at home while dealing with a miss 4 and a miss 1 & a half.
Something that may help lift the dull erk feeling that has overcome me lately.

  • I have always found a beautiful relaxing bath to be helpful, if you have some rock salt, throw that in, with a couple of cups of milk, and let yourself pretend you are cleopatra

  • i feel your pain! I’m 5 months pregnant with #2 and sometimes wear the same messy bun for 3 days straight lol. I feel like a big ugly fat mess, its not fun. Maybe get some fun workout dvd and get your other 2 involved, i know daily exercise with my toddler makes me feel a bit better everyday.

  • Look around you and find support, they may be able to help out with your current load and hopefully you can put your feet up and just have some rest.

  • If someone else can help look after the littlies for a while, have a long hot bath! I loved my baths when I was pregnant!

  • I absolutely know how you feel. I was lucky enough to have a friend who took my daughter for three days to let me rest and relax during my last pregnancy – she even made us dinner each night! It made me feel human again, so if you have someone who could look after the kids – even for a day, I would definitely recommend it. I also found making myself have a shower and putting on make up and nice clothes afterwards each morning made me feel a bit better. I hope you start feeling better soon!

  • Sounds like you need a really good rest. Could someone babysit for you and you have a whole day to sleep, eat, watch a chick flick and just relax? It would probably do you the world of good. Someone else could cook dinner too and give you a night off.

  • Maybe get a friend and have a little picnic at home? Or maybe friend or family member could give you a facial? If you can get someone to come over to your place and mind the kids while you have a bubble bath at home? Just a few ideas……….

  • When i was pregnant with my fourth child i felt exactly the same as you do, so my hubby took the kids out one sunday afternoon and left me at home with chocolate, a foot spa, a chick flick and my iPad it was four hours of bliss i did nothing but sit down relaxing was wonderful.

  • I think third pregnancies are really hard, because you have two others to chase! Try to catch up with a friend who makes you laugh.

  • a face mask always makes you feel fresher and you can do things while it sets. I personally love the peel off face masks as I find peeling things helps me destress.

  • Maybe head out with a group of friends and going to a park and lunch.

  • I’m also pregnant with number three, and have a four and two year old. It’s been tough going this time round! I take advantage of anyone that offers to come and have my kids, or have a play date… It really de-stresses me!

  • maybe see if a friend or family member could look after your kids for a day and just have a bit of time for yourself

  • An uplifting face mask. There are a couple of recipes in the craft section or you could buy a ready made one.
