Does anyone else feel the same in the sense that at the moment there is a load of claptrap on television? I don’t particularly watch a lot of television but I would certainly rather eat my own eye balls than watch The Bachelor or Jersey Shore or any of that rubbish. Out of interest because I wanted to understand the interest surrounding the show I watched an interview with the Batchelor Blake Garvey and Sam Frost – whom have recently broken up. Gee if I didn’t want to vomit a little bit in my mouth at the stupidity and insincerity- the poor bloke couldn’t even act! Still the best part of the whole clip was the send up the show The Project gave it. Think I will remain a movie buff for now and enjoy my docos etc. But hey that’s what makes us all different isn’t it- what one finds entertaining will bore another to tears.

  • Reality programs are in plenty and they are annoying, it seems the same formula with little twists are made for us to watch. I find them boring; bring back the classics Kingswood country, friends, Mork and mindy, sitcoms that would make us laugh & smile. Not all gloom and doom, there’s too much of that in the world today

  • I used to love reality TV but I’m so over it now.

  • Yes, i’m over all the reality TV shows as well. Unfortunately they are becoming more and more common and some people on them are really seeking their 15 minutes of fame, and willing to do almost anything in order to get it. I’m thankful that there are enough other channels now on free to air or I just turn it off and spend time with my kids

  • I watch it when I have some down time and have it on in the background.
Some I find hilarious just the way it is all acted out and how people reacted to each other

  • I agree. These shows have been going for years. Time to get new types of shows.

  • Must admit I’m not a big fan of reality tv, give me a documentary or true life crime.

  • I totally agree!
I usually love watching big brother, the one show I actually like, and even that has turned to crap this year
Maybe they should do some serious research and find out what people like us want to watch and change their program’s accordingly

  • I totally agree, I’m sick to the teeth of cooking shows, dancing shows, singing, dancing, dating…..or just sitting around a house doing nothing (Big Brother) It’s just such mindless rubbish. I guess they are popular because peoples lives are so busy it nice to just sit and be easily entertained without having to think too much.
