School Holidays and Pinata Fun! - Real Mum story on MoM

We love the school holidays as it is down time and a break from the usual week day routines and hustle and bustle. We love going out and exploring galleries and museums and other attractions. I love the holidays because it is an opportunity for the kids to experience lots of different cultural activities too. We love to explore different countries via reading books, making crafts and cooking food from different countries. We are planning a Spanish theme these holidays as we want to make and fill a piñata and have fun hitting it and cracking it open and watching the goodies spill out onto the floor!

I’ve made a couple of piñata so, what a great idea they are, awesome school holiday activity. So much better than shop bought too, they’re sturdier and much harder to break open

I have never made a pinata, but I think my daughter and nieces could have fun with this.

It’s a great idea! I love pinatas too. We bought one once for my daughter’s 4th birthday, in the shape of a zebra. Kids had fun hitting it. The problem was that they couldn’t open it!! At the end adults had to help. And it still took a very long time. Ha! Ha!

  It is such a good way for everyone to be creative and come up with fun ideas too!
