Selling instead of giving away - Real Mum story on MoM

I have had a great big clean out – usually all the stuff would be sent onto a local op shop. Money is tight this year, so I got on to our local ‘buy, swap, sell’ facebook site, and am selling things there. I am blessed to have sold enough to buy a whole leg ham for my family. Just thought I would share this tip xx

That’s so good. I tend to just give away stuff I no longer need, but actually selling is a great option. Do you think that Facebook website is easier than Gumtree?

  I find Facebook is a lot easier, there a lot of groups and it’s quicker to post. Plus you can easily ‘bump’ posts so they get seen again unlike Gumtree where you either need to pay to bump it or delete and post again
