Well my eldest turned 3 this week, my middle son is 2 next month & my baby girl has just gone 5 months. After dedicating all my time to the kiddies, I’m starting to get my groove back. I love to cook and I’m now managing to create new meals each week as opposed to just standard lasagna, roasts, pasta etc. I’m even currently baking bread as we speak. I get to the gym now almost everyday. I’m secretary of Playgroup which to my delight has a social side to it. Dinner out once a term with the girls. I’ve had two outings out now and I’m super excited about it. It took almost 3 years to get back out, or have someone to go out with. Hubby & I have even started a date night once a month at minimum now we have an in home carer 10hrs a week. I’m feeling really good about myself at the moment, as I’ve spent the last 3 years in trackies, with my hair tied back, singing nursery rhymes, finger painting and playing play dough. Whilst I love every moment with my kids, I do also love doing things for myself, now I’ve been reminded I need to do something for myself every once in awhile.
