Im so glad that you were honest and you would of made her day by been so honest. So many people would of walked away and kept the money.. I am a full believer what goes around comes around(karma)..

It is refreshing to see honesty upheld. I so often see the opposite. I like to believe that when short change is given in shops that it is a genuine error but unfortunately it seems to happen when the circumstances are “ripe” for taking advantage.. a child paying by themselves or a small shop that doesn’t give a receipt unless you ask (and when you do you see a few items have been rung up twice!). Well done for being honest!

Good for you. That is exactly what I would have done

I don’t think many people would’ve been honest in this situation. I’d say they’d be like the woman from the IKEA ad “start the car!”

I’d have pointed that mistake out too.

Honesty always pays off. It happened to me too lately. I let one company know about a mistake they made sending me a voucher that was bigger in value than what it was supposed to be. They appreciated my honesty, and they told me to keep it. That was very nice of them!
