I do think it has changed for the better; but the generic comments never really bothered me a great deal, because like another mum said sometimes a lot of people share a common opinion on a topic, and there is only so much you can say on some topics.

I enjoy all of the contributions on this site; whether little or big; as some people have more to say than others; whether I share the same opinion or have a different one. I enjoy the diversity of information and comments; all valuable.

I joined up in a May so I missed all this but, I do find in general that people make worthwhile and interesting comments.

  I agree; I am finding the comments relevant.

Sometimes there are only so many things you can say about a posted topic, and some receive the same generic comments because a lot of people think the same and some of the posts are very basic, like a truck load of arts and crafts that were posted a while back.

As for posting for the perks (first comment) well MOM does encourage that, the statement and incentives are posted on our rewards page and we all receive the emails encouraging us to comment and earn rewards in the process. Let’s be honest, if it wasn’t for earning points towards possible rewards how many people would be on here posting as much as they do? MOM is designed this way.

Can’t say I’ve noticed a lack of posts anywhere, but I do tend to binge on some sections when I’m looking for ideas and then not visit them for a while…

I love this site too. Not sure what has changed to stop the generic commenting but I do like the little changes to the layout.

I have noticed not as many new topics for example on real stories but I pop on here every day and check what is happening and I have noticed the amount of comments on things have dropped but really did not think about it until I read your post ,,, I suppose there were more people than I thought were only posting for the perks and not to be of any real help or of valued input
