Hello!

The first day for my little one… in the pool.. was pretty awesome. He was so happy about seeing such a lot of water … splashing here and there. I made sure not to rush him in the pool directly else he might have got frightened. I let him play with his feet inside water… slowly he began to sit on the stairs…

i made him sit inside the floating tube… my god he was so happy ! had a lovely weekend !

  • One way to teach a little one to get used to water is to tip water over their heads in the bath. This is one of the first things the swimming schools do. You can teach your child to kick both legs evenly in the water and paddle their arms in the water, not necessarily at the same time while teaching. I know one little boy who wasn’t even walking properly you could put him on his back in the bath in very shallow water. He would kick in the water and go from one end of the bath to the other. Then he started splashing with his arms too (they weren’t proper strokes). He went from one end of the bath to the other quicker then. It was funny to watch. He was in no hurry to get out of the bath either. If his Mum went to lift him out he would immediately start kicking and head to the other end of the bath.

  • Introducing children to water play is so much fun and safety is important too.
