terrible twos - Real Mum story on MoM

Im sure im not alone with this.

I have a just turned two yr old thats mastered the tantrum. She gets on the floor, kicks, screams, hits etc. There are days when i feel like shes tantruming more than playing and its stressful and exhausting, but then to make matters worse, my mil said the other day, ‘shes so good and shes not even doing tantrums yet because her ones are mild’ needless to say, i had to bite my tongue! Why are toddlers really good around strangers, but nonstop at home. Surely they arent aware of social manners at 2, and if they were, why do they tantrum in the shops!?

My son at age 2 had no idea of a tantrum……until he was about 6! My daughter mastered the art and continued it way past the age of 2.

I think they throw tantrums with people they’re most comfortable with!
