The first words - Real Mum story on MoM

Well they say that the first words a baby says is : Mum… or maximum Dad…
and here we were …frantically waiting for our little one to say..Mom..mummy…maa…mamma……..as luck would have it.. he started mumbling… and started spurting out some words….. and finally one day…one word made sense……. very chirpy and happily he said…BBye…….. and lol i went… omg he’s speaking speaking speaking… even though not MOM… but his first word sounded truly blissful….

My kids said Nan first. My grandson also said bye as his first word

It’s so magical when they start to speak. I can remember with my daughter she was saying only a few words when we went overseas for our anniversary. We left her with my parents at the time and when we came back she was saying sentences after not even 3 weeks! We couldn’t believe it, it all happens so fast. Now the trouble is getting her to be quiet and eat her dinner!

The first words are such an exciting time. Then it’s on to even funnier phrases and words as they expand their vocabulary.
