Hello!

With Christmas coming up I thought I’d share this. I have a present cupboard. It is just a little cupboard where I keep spare cards for all occasions as well as presents. Now that we are on one income this has been a great help this year. When I find really good specials throughout the year I buy what I think family members will like and keep them in my little cupboard. I love mid year sales, clearance catalogues and end of year sales. I’ve gotten all sorts of things: jewellery, Swarovski, books, alcohol, tools, perfume and homewares when they are on special. I get perfume at Mother’s Day and put it away from Christmas and birthdays, tools or aftershave at Father’s Day, end of year I stock up on wrapping paper and cards and as my daughter gets older will get decorations. And my husband loves it because we don’t have to go Christmas shopping!

  • I have one of these as well but it’s a wardrobe that is now overflowing because I’ll take from it only to replenish the items!
But it’s definitely a great thing to invest in especially with last minute birthday invites and the like.

  • That is panning ahead for Christmas. We did too, we made hampers, I have won couple comps so will give as a present at Christmas, it’s a good feeling & best of all stress free & avoid the crowds :)
