This is my baby girl. She is very sick. Currently the doctors have no idea what is wrong with her and they have placed a feeding tube into her nose.
She has not been herself the past few days and we’ve only thought it has been a cold and have given her panadol to help with her temp. But she is still not the same. Luckily for us my Mother In Law is a GP and she came and checked Lily over.
The worst feeling came over both my partner and I was when she told us to go straight to emergancy as Lily had a rash, high temp, and had started throwing up.
We spent 5 hours in the emergancy department before they transfered us to the Childrens ward. I hated watched the nurses trying to put Lilys feeding tube into her nose and down her throat into her stomach. It looked uncomfortable as they pinned her down.
Now our waiting game has started. They are running tests and later this afternoon will be doing a ultrasound on her stomach.
It’s hard to watch her go through this. And it’s hard to explain to her older sister what is happening. Her big sister just wants to make things better and for Lily to come home and play.
