They say mothers have unconditional love for their children. I say babies have unconditional love for their mothers too. I love being this little bundle’s mostest loved person in the whole world.
Perhaps you didn’t like the yucky gooey stuff I gave you for lunch today; perhaps I didn’t spend much time playing with you this afternoon; and perhaps I wasn’t very patient and nice at the 3am feed.
But no matter what, you light up when I walk into the room; you stop crying the instant I pick you up; and you get all excited and giggly when I finally sat down to play with you.
Mommy is not perfect, but mommy loves you, and I know you love me too
