I was feeling overweight and depressed and really didn’t feel like myself at all. I was still cheerful and happy on the outside, but deep down I was miserable. After having kids, time just got away from me and gradually the weight built until my size 16 clothes started to get too tight and I felt like I was spiralling out of control. I got to the point where I was invited to a re-union that I would have loved to go to, but because I was embarrassed by the way I looked, I didn’t go.

I knew it was time to do something about my weight but I just didn’t know where to start. I had tried so many other diets that I was confused as to what to eat. I was away on holidays with friends that we only see every now and then and one of the girls (Heather) had lost weight and was looking fantastic. I asked her what she had done to lose her weight and she mentioned she was on Jenny Craig. Over the long weekend, I saw how easy Jenny Craig food fitted into her lifestyle. She didn’t have to miss out on anything. It was then I decided, “I can do that

I ended up losing 18kg
