Weird door knocker - Real Mum story on MoM

The weirdest thing happened today! I had just out my 9month old down for a nap and of coarse the door bell rang. I rushed downstairs and opened the door to find a sales person talking on his mobile. I had the security screen kicked abd he couldn’t see be but u could see him and I asked if I could help him, to which he first ignored abd continued with his conversation abd then I said excuse me, can I help you abd he replied, ‘what a minute’, not to the person on the phone but to me who’s door he just rang. I was shocked and said I’m not interested in whatever your selling and he had the nerve to reply nah wait a sec. I shut the door and didn’t let him keep me waiting at my own front door.

Don’t worry about spelling mistakes. It is quite easy to see how it could happen.
If you know which company he was from, I would have been tempted to report him. The only trouble is you don’t what he might do if you did. At my previous address, I had a front screen door like that. I frightened a few people who rang the bell, then didn’t realise I was standing there.

OMG, Sorry about all the spelling mistakes ladies. I was posting the story on my iphone while feeding bub so all the abd is meant to be and.
So glad that Im not the only one who thought this guy was rude!!

  I do that often and there’s no way to edit!! One handed typing is tricky. I can’t believe the nerve of that person. Good on you for sticking up for yourself. Us mummas don’t have time to waste When our babies sleep

I would have waited to find out what company he was representing to let them know. If they are paying him to do a job they deserve to know how badly he behaved

The nerve of him, thats why we have one of thoose signs on our door advising sales people not to knock on the door. That way i at least know its a genuine reason a person who knocks on the door. Usually a neighbour or a friend..

If this is how he treats people and he works on commissions, I guess he won’t get a big monthly salary!!!
