Hello!

The other day was only 14 degrees and rather windy, but being school holidays the kids were extremely eager to get out of the house. They wanted to go to the local native botanical gardens for a bush walk. Reluctantly I agree so off we went. We walked to the trig site where the kids loved seeing everything around them. Wanting more of a walk we agree to take the short track which cut off a bit of time……what a perfect idea. As we came up to the track we heard a rustling then all of a sudden a swamp wallaby bounced across in front of us. The kids were excited, as we kept on walking we came across more and more of them, some of them you could get up really close to. Altogether we spotted 27 swamp wallabies, it was the perfect end to the day and a great treat.

  • MY boys used to love this sort of thing. Such an easy, cheap and healthy form of entertainment
