hi everyone ;)

for me i found it easier going from 2 to 3.
as our children are now older, the oldest was 7 when the 3rd child was born and the our 2nd child was 16 months younger then her.

I found the children to be a great help around the house (passing nappies, entertaining the baby etc)

the first time when i had a 16 month old and a newborn i found it so much harder to have 2 little kids, as one would bug the other one and they had some much energy and never stopped moving.
they say to sleep when baby sleeps but its so hard when you also have a toddler running around you need to entertain.

It was great having the support of my husbands parents, they helped out heaps and would take the kids for us at times so we could have some time to ourselves (hubby and i)

So what do you think applies in your life? was it easier going from 1 to 2 children or 2 to 3 children.

I would love to hear your story.

thanks

  • yeah 2 to 3. it took me a long time to get accustomed to the fact of having a second child! the third was no big deal and felt like bub had always been apart of the family!

  • Also, I think when you go from 2 to 3, you’re a bit more prepared for the changes.
