I am going to have a rant….. I am sick of hotels and airlines over the last few years suddenly changing the age of a child from 18 to 12 and over. If you want to buy a plane ticket suddenly they are adult priced (not that you got much discount as a child) and hotel bookings suddenly over 12 is classed as adult in most hotels and they will not let them have a roll away bed in parents room etc. Yet at the same time a 13 year old is not allowed to hire a room or stay in a room at a hotel if not accompanied by an adult and if they fly they have to go as an unaccompanied minor. So can the government decide what is a child and that is the rule and you cannot make up your own rules?

I agree!!! It’s so hard to even convince your children these days that 12 is not an adult
