My son 11 has tried many sports cricket, football, basketball, hockey ect, but 3 years ago he got the chance to try whip cracking, it is still a sport, they have competitions, and practice. He started doing the basic cracks and had 1 whip, now he does more difficult cracks, like cracking to tunes eg; mary had a little lamb, making machine gun cracks, helicopter noises and horse hoof beats, and now using a whip in each hand at the same time, he is really enjoying learning the different tunes, and going in competitions, where sometimes people come from all over australia to compete, he used to be a very shy boy, but i have noticed that since taking whip cracking up he has gown more confident and to stand in front of a crowd and perform is amazing, he has enjoyed this sport more than any other sport he had tried before, so while he is enjoying it i am encouraging him as much as possible.
