Hello!

My daughter has recently just clicked with reading and reads everything she can get her little hands on. It’s made life a little easier as she can read books while I’m putting my youngest to bed and while she’s waiting for me to read our goodnight story together. I’ve been so proud at how much of a difference it’s made with little day to day things…except that all back fired on the weekend. I was scrolling though our saved programs on Foxtel to find her a program she could watch when she asked to watch the “princess” program. I couldn’t see a princess program but she ran up to the TV screen and pointed at “game of thrones”. I explained to her that it wasn’t suitable for children and she burst into hysterical tears, saying all she wanted to do was watch the princess and the throne program. Not funny at the time but my husband and I cracked up afterwards.

  • Ooh, no way would you let her watch that! But kids are so basic in their interpretations.

    • Kids are literal and funny mishaps happened with song lyrics too.
