Hello!

I am starting back at work one day a week next year so I am currently looking at daycares. I had a great one and my children had friends there also. However, my partner did not feel comfortable with the educator (and neither did I). So I spent the day hunting for a new one and asking questions for our concerns. I am going to check one out tomorrow for my little ones. I feel like I will always have minor issues with child cares so I am trying to be open minded.
Does everyone feel this?
Does anyone feel guilty about sending their child to daycare? Even though looking forward.to the one day work ?!?!

  • Hi I just did a search in MOMs for questions around daycare because I’m feeling very much the same! Each daycare has issues…they will never look after our kids like we do! I’ve had to accept that going back to work will also make me a better mum because I’m craving the need for intellectual stimulation and having more adult conversations. I’ve also tried to focus on the positives…the social skills, fun messy play on the regular, a lot of outdoor fun, learning activities…I know you posted this a while ago but hoping that over the last couple or so years you now have some tips for a mum in your shoes :)
