Firstly because my 16 year old son with ADHD and Aspergers remembered to get me something ( a first in his whole life) without a reminder and also because he was calm and settled yesterday. Secondly because my 15 year old daughter wrote me a card thanking me for all my advice through the past year. This means a lot to me because she is a very independent person and I was unsure if I was helping her. Thirdly because my 11 year old made me a card and my 3 year old drew me for the first time….Previous Mother’s Days have sometimes been disappointing so this was doubly lovely.
