Hi I just wanted to share with anyone interested if your like myself and couldn’t stand the thought of putting your babes in day care have you thought of doing family day care? A lot of the training just becomes common sense when your a mum and you can set your own hours and days. I’ve worked in Childcare for 12 years and since having my first daughter I’ve been a family day care provider! It’s great I love sharing our home with other families and it gives my little girl the best of both worlds by having other children to play and learn with and still be at home with mum. Just a thought for anyone struggling with that decision to return to work

I have been thinking of doing this. In my case I think it will be a little more complicated as my mother tongue is not English. I am not sure how this works.

Great advise, thanks for sharing and glad that it’s working well for you. I’ve thought about it in the ist but with four kids if my own I don’t think I could take on anyone else’s.
