A shame the photo has been removed

The picture has been removed know – intrigued!

Back in those days, the costumes would have looked nearly normal as nearly all children would have worn farm gear, but parents would have been scared at the costumes our children wear these days.

Oh wow, they sure did show the true meaning of Halloween back in the day. These costumes are by far, hands down superior to today’s wishy washy efforts

These are very creepy. I’d probably turn off all lights, hide the car and pretend I wasn’t home that night.

Yikes, they are a bit freaky!

The parents and children must have tried so hard to make these costumes – inventive and not too creepy.

I agree with Jenniw the black and whites add to the creepiness!!

I’m a big scaredy cat and still haunted by Freddie Kruger and Poltergeist from my teens. Not planning on dressing up in any creepy costumes soon.

Wow.. they do look very creepy. I think the black and white photos make them look worse than they really are though.

Hahaha, they do look really creepy. Imagine seeing an adult in one of those!

Far out !! Some of them look worse than today’s inventions.

I don’t know if these are more creepy then the Haloween dress ups of these days. I don’t like Haloween
