We’ve all been there – not being able to finish a delicious meal at a restaurant but not wanting to waste the food. So we ask for a ‘doggy bag’ or a takeaway container to transport our meal home. But what about taking the plate or bowl it’s in as well?

Most of us would never dream of bagging up the crockery our restaurant meal has been served on, but one woman is going viral for showing off her incredible restaurant ramekin haul.

Twitter user @bonecarrier shared TikTok footage of the woman showing off her restaurant crockery haul. The woman’s original TikTok video has since been removed.

Her video was posted in response to a restaurant employee scolding people who take restaurant ramekins in their ‘to-go boxes’.

The woman responds by saying, “This video has been shared with me about five times now, so I figured I’d give the people what they want. Get ready, it’s a lot.”

She then begins to reveal a huge pile of crockery she claims to have taken from restaurants, including bowls, ramekins, sushi bowls, spoons, gravy boats, mugs and baskets.

The video has been viewed almost five million times, with plenty of comments admonishing the woman.

What do you think about this? Is it ok? Let us know in the comments below.

  • She is a theif and proud of it.
Resturants in her area should distribute photos of her to the staff and if she visits then she should be watched like a hawk or they should just put a $20 charge on her bill that can be refunded if she supplies her bank details once they can establish if everything is still on the table.

  • Wow, who does this? Clearly this woman, but I don’t know of anyone else. It’s rude and wrong.

  • I don’t get what she wants with all the mismatched dishes? It’s like she is proud of it and she gets a high from it or something.

  • Theft, pure and simple. Pretty stupid to expect to post about it on social media and not be slated for it….’hey let’s celebrate I’m a thief’?! Sorry but restaurants dont expect stuff to be pinched, it’s an extra cost replacing this stuff, and after so many businesses have been impacted by the pandemic – great role model….NOT!!!

  • She should be arrested. She is stealing. No wonder it costs so much to go out for food.

  • But why. That is theft.

  • It’s theft. Theft hurts the owners, and also contributes to price increases for us. A lot of people don’t seem to know the difference between right and wrong anymore.

  • Stealing is one thing but also what about having consistency in your cupboards? This would hurt me to see so much different crockery

  • That’s just theft. How does she get away with it? I know some people who take mugs from coffee shops but gravy boats! she taking it to a new level.

  • Have people lost all sense of shame?

  • Oh wow I could not do that I get guilt if I take home a straw

  • It’s definitely stealing and I can’t believe she’s so proud of it that she’s showing off what she’s taken. Sounds to me like a case of kleptomania.

  • It is definitely stealing, like who takes a jug home or the big share plates. Sounds to me like it’s a game to her to see what she can get away with.

  • Taking them home?! Why would you do that! It’s stealing unless you ask for taking them if they’re not necessary for the restaurant anymore!

  • It’s theft. The least she could do is actually ask if she could take it or find out where to buy some if she likes them that much.

  • It’s theft. No wonder restaurants go broke. If I had her visit a restaurant I own I would serve her in a takeaway container or charge her for the crockery she has taken.

  • Why would you? What is the point of having all that mismatched product in your cupboards? No thanks

  • She’s proud of stealing? What an awful person. Sort yourself out.

  • Omg! This is funny but horrible at the same time. It amazes me on how much she has taken but oh boy, that is pure theft! Worst thing she has done is broadcast it on social media, big mistake cause high chance, she will now be caught out.
