Breastfeeding like a supermodel

What a brilliant portrayal of breastfeeding – if only all mothers could feel so supported in the decisions they make for feeding, whilst continuing to follow their passions in areas of work.

And wouldn’t it be wonderful if we all had a ‘style squad’ like Gisele!

Not sure if we would personally post breastfeeding photos on Instagram, even with full hair & makeup done, but still Gisele seems to be making a stand after her comments 3 years ago telling Harper’s Bazaar UK that “there should be a worldwide law…that mothers should breastfeed their babies for six months”

My baby wiggles too much to get a perfect picture! I see other babies breastfeed calmly, then there’s me and my wiggle worm, him trying to rub my nip all across his face haha

yeah she does look so comfortable and relaxed in that pic whereas i would cover that up because i m shy lol i am also not a supermodel!

I think this a ridiculous picture. I certainly didnt look like this when I was breastfeeding in my comfiest trackies and tshirt, at 2 in the morning, trying not to nod off in front of infomercials. And sorry I tried my very best but could only breast feed for about 3 months.

Always great to have photos of women breastfeeding to help normalise it. Although this picture doesn’t resemble in the slightest my breastfeeding experience this evening (on the couch in my old pajamas, with unwashed hair!)

Her suggestion that breastfeeding be compulsory is ridiculous and incredibly offensive to women who are unable to breastfeed or choose not to for whatever reason.

If someone feels comfortable breastfeeding in public go for it I say, if you don’t like it look the other way.

I’m pleased Gisele isn’t in a position to make our laws, she’s entitled to do what she wants and so is everyone else.
