so yummy hot out the grill or cold as a party snack


Ingredients (serves 8)

  • 8 slices Bread
  • 1 can Baked Beans
  • 8 slices cheese
  • handful Bacon pieces (optional)

Method

  1. grill 1 side of the bread, remove from griller and turn over.
  2. add baked beans to the uncooked side if the bread
  3. place a slice of cheese on each one
  4. sprinkle bacon pieces on the cheese
  5. grill until the cheese is bubbly and starting to brown

  • Oooh yum. I love baked beans.. Unfortunately most of my family don’t but my youngest and I would certainly enjoy it.

  • Everything old is new again – my mum used to make toast pizzas for us in the 1960’s and I did it often for my children. Never used baked beans, but it could be another item this year.
