How good would it be to create a purpose driven life that lights you up on every level – both your career and lifestyle?  It is possible!

Below are my 4 tips to create a purpose driven life giving you a spring in your step every day:

1)  Find your Passion

Finding your passion gives far greater meaning to life.

Unearth what it is you’re passionate about through spending time reflecting on both the past and present. Know and understand your strengths and weaknesses. Look inward for solutions and understand your gut feelings.

What it is that makes you happy?

Analyse your past  – both good and bad experiences. Be kind to yourself. Soon you’ll be on your way to realising what it is that lights you up.

2) Open Communication

Communication is key.  Listen to your friends, family and colleagues and ask what they recognise as your strengths.

In most cases, they are honest and can often pinpoint your strengths more clearly than you can yourself.

3) Hire a Coach or a Mentor

A Business Coach, Life Coach or Mentor is a great way for gaining clarity and direction in your life and career.

A coach will teach, encourage and hold you accountable for reaching your goals. The right coach will focus solely on you, and guide you along your own unique path to reach success and fulfilment.

4) Face your fears

Don’t let your mind sabotage your success!

Whether it’s your business or life, fear is a common hurdle many people face.

It’s up to each of us to push through our fears and design a life or business we love.

You are in control, and that’s powerful and exciting.

  • I have just started my own small business, I often have feelings where I don’t think I am good enough or smart enough to make it work. Sometimes I think that I can’t do it and put things off until the last minutes, then I focus on the task at hand and I quietly achieve it and it is the best feeling in the world when you realize that you can actually do it. Doing it has to be the first step to over coming fear. I am still finding my feet with my business and learning on the fly, but I have already achieved a small following on my Facebook page and have picked up some wholesale customers in my first 12 months. Looking forward to applying some of your tips to my business plan for 2015
