Article ALDI Is Releasing Its Own Clothing Line, And We’re Not Sure What To Think

The infamous ALDI middle aisle is about to get a shake-up, with the supermarket chain launching its first-ever branded streetwear range.

Carrying the famous ALDI branding, the range includes slides, sneakers, jumpers, hoodies, hats and beanies – 23 items in total. And everything is under $20.

The loungewear collection launches in ALDI Australia stores on Saturday, 13 April, and is only available for a limited time – which means it could actually become quite sought-after.

You’ll be able to find the following items in the ALDI middle aisle:

  • Sweatshirt (grey), hoodie (navy), trackpants (grey or navy), $14.99
  • T-shirt (grey or white), $8.99
  • Slides (grey stripe or navy), $7.99
  • Sneakers, $19.99
  • Socks (4 styles), $4.99
  • Bucket Hat, $7.99
  • Cap Hat, $7.99
  • Beanie (2 styles), $7.99
  • Compact Umbrella (3 designs), $6.99
  • Double Walled Insulated Mug (3 designs), $9.99

ALDI says the collection has been created so customers can mix and match, with items containing sustainably source and recycled materials.

  • I think it’s ridiculous we have enough fashion why not deliver groceries instead? Stores are Americanising by selling everything in one store. If hun laws weren’t so strong you would be seeing weapons too it’s just not necessary.

  • I saw the sneakers/trainers in store today. My teenager really liked them, unfortunately they were sold out of all but the men’s huge sizes. They would have been a great buy for only $19.99.

  • People buy clothes for supermarkets, sandwich shops, and other interests all the time. Heck, I’ve seen so many people wearing bunnings hoodies. If they wanna wear it, why not?

  • I like the sneaker eyelet detail, but white shoes are impossible for me!
    I think as long as they arent using sweatshops to manufacture them, then it’s okay?

  • They look okay but I don’t shop at Aldi’s. The prices are pretty good so they may sell quite well.

  • The USA Aldi has had a range of clothing for a while. I purchased the pjs when we were there & they are very comfy & well made

  • They marketed it well in terms of capturing some great shots. Not sure if I would buy it as I have my eye on some KFC merch instead ahaha.
