Hello!

Cheese lovers, try and contain your excitement. A taste of the French Alps is coming to Sydney, with the popular (and delicious) Raclette Igloo Experience arriving at Broadway Sydney Rooftop later this month.

After popping up in Canberra, Melbourne and Adelaide, and being visited by more than 45,000 people, it’s now Sydney’s turn to experience the winter delight.

Raclette Igloo

Sixteen cosy igloos, complete with twinkling lights and crackling fire pits will adorn the Broadway Sydney Rooftop, with guests indulging in a fromage experience.

The lucky guests will get to indulge in the authentic flavours of Raclette, a warming, cheese-based winter dish that’s all about comfort and taste.

Raclette Igloo

Golden rivulets of Raclette cheese will cascade over meats and accompaniments, you’ll almost believe you’re in the French Alps. Each table will have two kilos of Raclette, a selection of four premium cured meats, boiled potatoes, pickled onions, and cornichons, all to share with family and friends.

Adults can sip on wines, while the kids will have still and sparkling juices. The evening continues around the fire pit, where you’ll roast marshmallows.

If you’re keen to snap up a ticket ($99 per person) head to Raclette Igloo Experience.

  • Why specifically igloos? In the picture there are indoor and outdoor placements, and I appreciate that some days and times are colder than others, but what is generating the igloo theme, how does it relate to cheese and hot melted cheese themed gastronomy ?

  • We did one of these at pier 1 before we had kids and it was such a nice experience!
Would love to take the kids once they’re a bit older as I think if we took them now, my little boy would bulldoze holes through that thing!

  • I would have loved to partake of this when it was in Melbourne but didn’t know a thing about it. I adore beautiful cheeses and this is definitely one of them.
Oh well, I’ll just have a lot of cheese at home myself – won’t have the Razzamatazz, but the taste will be the same, eh?

  • As much as I love cheese and a fire pot, these look a bit scarey, seats too close to the fire for my liking

  • Would be a wonderful experience but I wouldn’t pay $99 for a spot.

  • Whilst it looks stunning it’s not something I’d pay $99 for.
