Easy craft at home :) Candle or wax painting to reveal a hidden surprise


Material

  • 1 candle
  • 1 paint brush
  • 1 cup of water (to rinse brush)
  • Many sheets blank paper
  • Set of chosen water based paints (non toxic and child friendly)

Method

  1. Draw a picture or write a hidden message on your piece of paper.
  2. Paint with whatever colours you choose :) And watch as your hidden picture or message appears.
  3. Dry in a safe area. And enjoy your beautiful memento from your children.

  • This is a pretty fun activity and could be done on blank card for Christmas, or older children could use the same techniques on a pre-stretched canvas with acrylic paints.
