Hanging message decorations - Arts, Crafts and DIY

Material

1 1 meter string
1 assorted coloured paper

Method

Each child cut a piece of paper into a triangle and wrote a message on each one.
Thread them onto string.
Take them down at the end of the year and read messages

Notes

This is great. Get all the kids to write a message on a triangle. Then at the end of the year take it down and see what every one has written. This was done at my daughters kindy and I think its a great idea.

We should do this as a family at the beginning of the year. What we want to achieve do during the year and then read them at the end of the year to see how we went. (might not work real well I suppose if we don’t achieve them! Still that means something to write for next year. Thanks.

Goes to show that activities don’t have to take a lot of time or cost money for kids to have fun. Family members could also make these and use long strings of them for Christmas decorations.
