Hello!

My child did this 8 years old as it is that easy and I have had so many people since then asking me if it is a real aboriginal painting! I just need to put it in a frame! The bigger the dots the thicker the handle of the paint brush.

Material

  • Paints
  • Paint brush with thick wooden handle. You will use the end for the dots.
  • black thick paper

Method

  1. Draw with a pencil a rectangle on your paper for the edge of the picture to give yourself a border.
  2. Draw the design in sections i.e. a circle for the round bits. If you do the circles first then make some lines straight or wiggly from circles to edge of border to outline each coloured section.
  3. Fill in the sections with different paint colours.
To paint this use the end of the paintbrush (not the bristle end) and dip into the paint and then place a dot on your paper.
