Hello!

My toddler and I did this outside after we collected the flowers.

Material

  • Assorted colours of water colour paint
  • 1 Sheet of paper
  • 1 Assorted size paint brushes
  • 1 Assortment of flowers
  • 1 Container of water to rinse brushes and flowers

Method

  1. Paint flowers (we used different flowers from our lawn). Place painted flowers face down on the paper and press.

  2. Flowers can also be swirled around for a different effect.
  3. When finished, hang up to dry.

  • Very clever and lots of fun – could be upgraded as children get older as well.

  • What a wonderful project..well done, looks so pretty. You could even turn it into educational as well by naming the flowers and saying the colours then taking note of the different shapes they make. Thanks so much for sharing.

    • Brilliant idea to turn it into an educational experience too.
