Sensory play, art and tummy time/clean finger paint time rolled into one.

Material

  • Different colours of paints
  • Thick paper of any colour (Thicker the better to prevent ripping)
  • Large zip lock bags to place paper in

Method

  1. Place the paper into the Zip lock bag
  2. Add blobs of paint onto the page and zip up the bag
  3. Pop on the floor with bub and to squish around the paint while having tummy time or for toddlers as clean finger paint time
  4. Take the page out of the zip lock bag and let dry

Notes

I love doing this with my son who is 6 months old, he loves to squish the paint around with his hands and mix all of the colours together. Add in some glitter paints for a bit of sparkle

  • We tried this with my son who hated tummy time. He was more interested in trying to bite the bag. Lol!

  • What a great idea and by using the zip lock bags there won’t be much cleaning up to do which is always a bonus

  • Nah …..just make a mess. It’s so much more fun. You can buy lots of washable and non toxic paints.
I used give my kids shaving cream to ‘paint’ with. The shower screen was the best place for this as the soap would wash right off :)
