Simple Pain-Free Christmas Tree

Material

  • Silver Christmas star
  • Christmas lights in one colour - I used blue light
  • Baubles in just a few colours - I have used silver, mirrored and blue
  • 1 Christmas Tree (can be artificial or real - your choice)

Method

  1. Add the Christmas lights to the set up Christmas tree first
  2. Add the Christmas baubles
  3. Finish with the star on top

  • I did the same but used 2 colours (I have 2 girls so they each put up one colour – purple & silver) but no lights. The lights look great!

  • I love Christmas, especially putting up and decorating the tree. I think less is more when it comes to decorating. I have some beautiful birds I bought at a cheap shop that look really cute as well. Thanks for sharing.

  • When I was a little kid when my Dad pruned the fruit trees he always saved a pice that he had pruned off, put in a sheltered spot to dry, painted it with leftover white or silver paint. At Christmas he would stand it in a bucket of builder’s sand in a bucket, then by sister and I had fun decorating it. Some of the decorations were hand made, some were some of our old baby toys which had been hand-me-downs. Most of the bought decorations were breakable so Mum always enjoyed hanging them after we had our fun.
