These are fun to make and great for encouraging fine motor skills, from memory I think they are a Mexican craft, google can probably tell you more!

Material

  • 2 Paddle pop sticks
  • 2-4 Balls of wool

Method

  1. Cross your paddle pop sticks over, then begin winding your wool from the middle of your crossed sticks completely around one stick the across on the angle to the next and repeat all the way around, going around each stick completely with the wool.
  2. You can add colours by simply tying then ends together. Once you have reached the ends simply tie your wool off.

Notes

Another great rainy day project!
