Thing is …..its all relative to your income. Yes of course what she spent would have fed several homeless people for a month but you cant go thought life looking at everything that way or we would never do anything.
Look in your kids bedrooms and all the toys they have. What has been spent on all those toys again would feed several homeless people and most of those toys your kids dont even play with anymore. Is it wrong that you purchased those toys in the first place? No of course its not but if we are going to look at the value of everything you do for your kids and then work out how many people could have been fed thats thats what we are doing.
Your kids dont NEED all the clothing that they ahve in the cupboard. They really only need 2 nice outfits for going out and 4 knock around home outfits. The rest are not NEEDS. So again you could have fed homeless people. Some with the shoes. Now thats the kids…..take at look at the STUFF you have and work out how many people you could ahve fed. Shocking isnt it?

Yes I think it’s too much. But I spoilt my kids on their birthdays too, I just didn’t have as big a budget as Bec Judd. I would like to think she doesn’t do this every year for each of her kids. It is too indulgent, they won’t learn to appreciate things

Who cares! A kid should be spoilt on her birthday. I bet she will remember it forever.

People really need to curb their immediate need to criticise. They are very wealthy – this is probably not over the top for them. Us mere mortal might not be able to do this for our kids but how lovely for this 5 year old – she will remember this always!

I don’t think this is a lavish party at all. Now if there was pony rides and a merry-go-round I’d believe it. This would have cost a lot less than a dinner party where people would spend a lot of money on alcohol.

I defs don’t go that far for our kids birthdays, but I don’t think it’s that lavish. There’s no pony, miniature elephant or crystal lemonade fountain. People are ridiculous. Aside romthat, the woman is clearly wealthy and is entitled to spend their money how they see fit

To each their own – so long as Billie isn’t excessively spoilt because she is the only girl in this family of children, why not.

It’s hard to know without being there, but it’s certainly not as bad as we’ve seen from other celebrities.

Those LOL dolls should be discouraged. So much plastic and waste and yes they are expensive.
Apart from that it looks like quite a normal party but those dolls are $$$

It is hard to make a comment when you do not know exactly how much she spent on the party. I have heard of one woman spending $5,000 on a kid’s birthday. Now that is excessive

people need to get a life! I threw a special birthday for my daughter’s 5th don’t see the problem it’s not something you do all the time!

People should just not follow Bec if they don’t like what she posts. I agree with her… anyone can create a magnificant party on a shoestring budget. I’m wondering too if the distributors of LOL’s may have chipped in with some product to Bec to share with her daughter. They’re getting the most out of this.

I am sure their little princess loved it and that is all that matters

The birthday celebration is simple compare to our country where we hire venue in the hotel, hire party decorators, professional photography,etc to make our the birthday of our children special. Honestly I don’t see anything wrong about it.

Doesn’t look excessive at all. Looks like a great party for her daughter. Seriously fun police, she wanted to do something special for her daughter, she can do it and if she can’t spoil her daughter on her birthday, then when?!

I have themed parties for my kids every yr. I even try to make the food match the theme. I don’t see any issue what so ever in what she has done. If that’s the party she wants to throw for her daughter that’s amazing! It doesn’t look much more than what I do.

I think she’s entitled to celebrate her daughter’s birthday any way she wants, and Happy 5th Birthday Billie!

totally fine – I think it’s actually quite a cute party set up and how lucky are the party guests, they probably got a LOL doll as a party favour – nothing wrong with helping kids remembering their birthdays and making them extra special, especially when you have 3 other siblings!

Yes lots of us probably can’t afford to splurge and get each party guest an LOL doll but if you could afford it you probably would!

When we go on a holiday, we might be able to feed hundreds of homeless people as well.
