It’s great if your kids don’t change their minds on what characters they’re into but sometimes there’s some great bargains and other times I feel there’s some rip off moments especially when you buy /layby the sale and then when you pick up and see some items cheaper again

Unfortunately my kids are getting changeable enough that I can’t risk buying gifts six months out. Their wants will have changed by Christmas.

Thank you for this info! This will be the first Christmas we can actually buy toys that our baby will be able to play with.

Sadly, no BigW nearby, however, I have followed these sales before and don’t really get the hype. They’re usually only small amounts off the prices…

I love the BigW Toy sale. I always find something to buy. lol

This sale is always AFTER my middle two have their birthday but ill check it out for my youngest and maybe put some stuff away for Christmas as well.

It’s a little over rated. I see some of the sales already through the year.

My kids had so much fun going through the catalogue pointing out what they ‘needed’.

My children love going through the big toy sale catalogue and circling everything they want. They normally do it several times and almost everything ends up with a circle!

I love browsing catalogues even though there is nothing specific in my mind to buy. But I always keep in mind some stuff for future purchases and take notes of their suggested retail price and sale price. Otherwise, I’m excited to buy a board game for me and hubby. Lol.

I’d like to see a paper catalog for this one – it’s such a big catalog.

My son is now 14,and I have not once used the mid year toy sales. I went to try one ywar when he was quite young, and it was a bit like the aldi special buys. Maybe a few of the great sale items per store, but sold out before you get there.

Everything seems to be still expensive for the kind of toys. Only branding eats up the price. Nothing great that I would feel like a bargain.

Nothing really stood out for me that would make me want to buy something

I enjoy browsing this catalog, though my kids are on the brink of outgrowing a lot of these sorts of toys.
