Captain Underpants was obviously on to something

My daughter did this when she first started crawling. She’d disappear down the hallway, rummage through my bedside cabinet (which is where I used to put them – I was short on storage and several sizes smaller so my underwear did not take up as much space) and crawl back down the hallway with them on her head. I really need to dig up the video of this and show my now 15 almost 16 year old daughter. Thanks MOMs, you just brought a happy memory to mind and a smile to my face.

Hahah this bought back some memories of my nephews who used to run around the house with jocks on their heads yelling out “we are jock men’ and acting like some super hero lol

I think we all gave photos of the kids with undies on their heads. I have one of my son with his nans bra and undies on over his clothes, striking a pose

I have two girls and they love putting undies on their heads at times too..lol

My kids went through fazes of undies fascination, they soon grow out of though

One certain 3 year old knows which patterned pair he wants to wear, and heaven help a babysitter if he knows they are in his bag. Sometimes he is Mr. independent and puts them on himself, other times he reckons he can’t do it. No funny antics as yet, but I imagine it won’t be long. There has been a few with Tshirts lately.

Yep, and girks get all weird about their undies from about 12 oonwards.

My son and his friend had there undies up on our tent poles, saying they were flags!

My 3 year old loves his older brothers undies

I love looking at photos and remembering how little my kids once were.

i dont have any funny photo yet…or may be i just think they are just cute…you see my kids are small and havent thought of putting undies on head…but only yesturday my boy took off his nappy and put it on his head. we had a good laugh but i didn’t thought of taking a photo…i might next time.

I have a funny one from about 28 years ago. My brother and his family arrived unexpectedly one day in hot weather. I was on the back lawn washing potatoes I had dug up in the garden and dropping them into a bucket of water to wash them, then put them in an old dish drainer
I didn’t hear them arrive until they walked out the back door, by which time all my little niece had on was a towelling nappy and pink pilchers. She ran and climbed into the bucket, then leant over, grabbed a washed potato and started eating it. Fortunately the camera was just inside the door so we managed to get a photo before we lifted her out of the bucket before she decided to try and sit in it.
