  • Motherhood is a dance. Follow your baby’s lead. Trust your instincts. Enjoy every moment. Sway to life’s music. Dance to your own beat, together, as one. Before long, the song will be over, and you’ll wish you were dancing all over again.

  • Don’t listen to everyone else, just trust your own instincts and your dr, otherwise you’ll go nuts!

  • My best and honest advice would be that it’s okay not to be okay and to feel overwhelmed and there is no shame in asking for help if you need it. It will get easier.

  • No one is perfect. Just ask for help and no question is a silly one there is no manual. We are all learning.

  • Go with your gut instinct, don’t listen to anyone else.

  • Nothing you do is wrong, every mum does things differently, trust your instincts.

  • Don’t go buying everything before the baby is here, you never know what you will use! Get essentials only

  • Keep out of my room please

  • Be patient with yourself, it’s a rough but beautiful journey! Don’t be afraid to ask questions, because lots of weird and wonderful things will happen to you and your body.

  • Stay healthy

  • it is okay to be not perfect. not perfect is perfect.

  • You don’t have to know everything. Trust your instincts. You got this mama.

  • Take advice on board but do what is best for your baby and family. Find your own routine and go with your gut instinct!

  • Always make time for yourself , your child will benefit from it.

  • Never doubt your intuition, its stronger than you think, and enjoy the newborn stage, as they really do grow so quickly. Also, you will never be a failure, its all a big learning curve, which you will master in time.

  • Listen to the advice you get and then do what you think is best! Not everything works for everyone and mums always know best for their little ones!

  • Get plenty of rest whilst you can. It’s cliche I know but I under estimated how tired I would get! Also stock up on gel breast pads if planning on breastfeeding, those gel pads are an absolute life saver!

  • You can do this. It’s not going to be easy. You won’t get much thanks, but it will be worth it. Every cuddle, every smile, every time you look at this little person and wonder how and why and think how lucky you are. Just hold on in there, get help when you can, do what you need to do for your family. It will be alright.

  • Do your own thing

  • It would be to make sure you rest when bub is sleeping you need to also look out for yourself
