Plum Sleeping Bags are soft, safe and absolutely adorable. You have the chance to WIN 1 of 8 Plum Sleeping Bags (1.0 tog, RRP $64.95, Size 6-18 months)

 While many parents use baby sleeping bags to ensure their children stay warm at night, they have another significant benefit – reducing the risk of sudden infant death syndrome.  

The benefit is a Sleeping bag keeps babies head uncovered as there are no need for blankets.

The benefits of a baby sleeping bag are:

  • Prevent a baby’s legs from dangling out between cot rails and getting caught
  • Lessen the likelihood that baby’s will roll on to their tummy
  • Stops a baby’s head from being covered by loose blankets in the cot
  • Ensure babies stay warm at night

Care and attention is taken with every last detail to ensure that the sleep bag is not only cozy for babies but one that looks great and will last too. It is important for babies to sleep well and warmth is one of the major factors to ensure a good nap. Plum Sleeping bag features that ensure baby is as safe and comfortable as possible.  These features include double zippers with tabs at both ends, protector tab at the base of the zip and at the top to protect babies chin, a travel function on selected designs, underarm snaps for smaller babies, on selected designs double press stud snaps on the shoulders.

SIDS and Kids are partners with Plum. Plum supports the SIDS and Kids national Safe Sleeping Education campaign through the funding of selected safe sleeping education materials. The Safe Sleeping materials funded include safe sleeping, tummy time and safe wrapping brochures and posters.  SIDS and Kids together with Plum also  recently launched a free Safe Sleeping iPhone app.
