Thanks to our friends at eOne, 20 lucky winners will each receive a DVD copy of Pride valued at $34.95 each!

Pride tells the incredible true story of a Welsh mining community struggling to make ends meet during the 1984 miners’ strike, when hope arrives with the unlikeliest of allies – a group of gay and lesbian activists who decide to raise money for the miners.

A rousing British crowd-pleaser in the spirit of Billy Elliot and The Full Monty, starring Bill Nighy and Imelda Staunton, Pride is a funny, affecting and truly inspiring film about two seemingly opposite communities who unite to form an extraordinary bond.

Available to own on DVD, Blu-ray and Digital HD March 4.

  • The young ones got me laughing so hard

  • Are you being served? – I remember watching this every week when I was younger with mum and dad. Polly was so pretty, how did she end up working here and wondering why Cybil put up with Basil!

  • Four Weddings and a Funeral is still my absolute favourite, it has all the essential ingredients with it’s original script, great cast, poignant moments and heart-warming romance!

  • My favourite British comedy is The Inbetweeners because I have a sick sense of humour!

  • Fawlty Towers, I get such a laugh over Basil, Sybill and Manwell. The strife Basil gets himself into is hysterical.

  • Love Little Britain, it cracks me up every time

  • Mrs Brown’s Boys, a hilarious comedy, made funnier by having the bloopers apart of the show.

  • The Full Monty, because it’s a feel good movie, the guys go from being down and out with no hope to fight back and make the best of it with an amazing show because they believed in themselves. The Tom Jones hit at the end just makes the movie and like all feel good movies it ends on a great note.

  • Peep Show. It’s laugh-out-loud funny, there’s nothing like it and I can’t bear to miss an episode!

  • Death at a Funeral was hilarious and the cast did a great job.

  • My most favourite British Comedy has to be ‘On the Buses’. Stan and the team constantly made me laugh. The movie was fantastic too. Just the family at home made me crack up with the comments between the family.

  • mother and son, i used to watch it with my grandfather when i was a kid a didnt always get the jokes but i had a great time watching with him while grandma cooked our dinner.

  • this will be a great prize to win

  • The Inbetweeners. It’s funny, crass and sometimes downright rude…but so funny!

  • My favorite British comedy
It’s all too hard to say!
    I’m quite the frequent watcher
I watch them almost every day

    Turning on the BBC
I’ll scream ‘Oh yes, it’s on!’
But if I had to pick just one
    It’s the League of Gentleman!

  • Mrs Brown … really funny.

  • Mrs Browns boys. Who doesn’t love a cheeky mammie

  • Oh this is a hard one.. there are sooo many, but I will go Vicar of Dibley. Geraldine’s jokes just crack me up.
What do you get if you eat Christmas decorations?

    Tinselitis!

  • Little Britain would make me laugh until my belly hurt and tears were streaming down my face.

  • Faulty Towers. So cringeworthy but with the emphasis on worthy. Classic Cleese genius!
