We are excited to be able to give 26 lucky MoM members a chance to WIN a copy of The Snow Queen DVD!

Win 1 of 26 The Snow Queen DVD’s valued at $19.95.

From acclaimed children’s author Hans Christian Anderson (Little Mermaid, The Ugly Duckling) comes The Snow Queen, a wildly enchanting story of good versus evil, darkness versus light and ultimately a tale of adventure, family and friendship.

Wishing to create a world where clean lines replace emotions and the wind cools human souls, the evil Snow Queen has blanketed the land and sea in ice and is determined to rid the world of all that is creative and inspiring.

According to the predictions of the Queen’s magical mirror, the last thing that threatens to spoil her plan is glassmaker, Master Vegard, whose mirrors reflect not only physical appearances but also the nature of people’s souls. The Queen summons a polar wind that takes away Vegard and his wife, Una, but not before they hide their son, Kai, leaving their daughter, Gerda, orphaned and without her brother.

When Kai is discovered in an orphanage and abducted to the Snow Queen’s palace, Gerda partners with a shape-shifting troll to embark on a journey across the icy wonderland, facing difficult obstacles and finding new friends on her quest to set Kai free, defeat the Snow Queen and warm the hearts of people everywhere.

Magical, thrilling and often laugh-out-loud hilarious, The Snow Queen is a must-own adventure that proves nothing can stand in the way of friendship, family and love.

  • The Ugly Duckling always resonated with me, it helped me feel better about myself as a child and I knew I could grow up happy too.

  • what a better way to celebrate the christams season than with a great DVD

  • The Little Mermaid, isn’t it every girls dream?
such a beautiful, magical underwater scene.
Now my beautiful daughter loves it too,
her imagination running wild of what is in the ocean so blue.

  • The princess and the Pea ..very interesting as I wanted to be a Princess when I was young

  • The little Mermaid, I wanted to grow up and be as pretty as her and have that voice that touches my soul, now when I sing its like a crow squawking!

  • The Little Mermaid was my favourity story as a child. This was the first movie I ever watched at the cinemas and I loved it. I can’t wait to have a child of my own and watch this movie with them.

  • I think ‘The Emperor’s New Clothes’ is a great little story. Probably my favourite theme in it is the honesty of children! As well of course as the importance of telling the truth, regardless of consequences. If the Emperor’s advisors had spoken he wouldn’t have wasted so much money!

  • Rumpelstiltskin: At first it was a cruel story – then it was a spelling nightmare…then a reason to learn how to spin wool ! Now its a way to show how the “legal” minds work to get around the law.

  • The Snow Queen has always been a favourite as it would be interesting as well as scary if a mirror could really show someone’s true self on the inside instead of just reflecting what they look like on the outside.
