my baby kicking in the water for the first time was so wonderful!

Bath time for us is a “farm animals” affair,
Bathe the toy horse’s hair,
Shower the cow with care,
Brush the “muddy” pig everywhere,
Splashing and giggling and we are all prepared!

When l put her in with my 6 year old and she pooed in the bath. That was 7 months ago and my eldest will not ever have another bath with her.

In the kitchen sink when we were on holiday

One of the first nights in hospital, my husband was undressing our son for his bath when he decided to pee, poo and spew on my hubby.

My grandson born 12 weeks premmie at 1.12kilos, at 4 weeks I was privileged to give him his first proper bath, he was healthy enough at 7 weeks to leave hospital still a tiny 1.8kg.

When our little boy decided to make his own water feature in the bath for the first time – it really shocked us.

I love our daily dance at bath time. First it’s the cry because it’s bath time and ‘no bath’ is happening, then the tears disappear every-time water touches skin and the smiles, laughs and splashing begins. I adore my baby’s daily love/hate bath routine.

When the dog jumped in with her, they had an amazing time while I had a melt down because of possible germs and water all over the bathroom floor.

Bath time has taught my little man to count. Ive always counted 1, 2, 3 before pouring water over his head- and now at 19 months he does it himself, counting and all. One very proud mum here!

I will never forget when my youngest was just on 4 weeks old, and as I lowered him into the bath, he looked right at me, smiled and gave his first “gurgle”. It was such a special moment as it felt as though he was trying to chat!

My baby loved her baths, we would blow bubbles and make a ship out of anything, it was lovely to dry her off and give her lots of cuddles afterward

My kids had just egg for dinner. I was giving them a bath when the youngest had diarrhoea…….the eggs did not stay in the 3 year old’s stomach for long.

The first bath, the time when we met him and I actually really believed that we made him so perfect so real. He is my angel and we just enjoy him always

Her first bath at 36 weeks she was born at 33 weeks seeing her and holding her tube free and enjoying the water made all the hard times worth it.

Always, with all of them, watching my husband give our three son’s their first bath and watching him beam with pride!

Kicking and screaming and then being soothed by the warm water.

The smiles, the smells, the relaxed look on babies face, the warm fuzzy towels at the ends of the bath…..enjoy every minute of it!

My 4th child fell asleep during his first bath, he was the only one of my children to be that relaxed to fall asleep as the others were more like whales splashing about
