    Don’t say I love you in front of their mate.


  • When participating in “Hawaiian shirt day” its probably not the best idea to drop your teenager off whilst wearing said Hawaiian shirt (especially when teamed with the grass skirt and coconut bra over the top!)
    (I have omitted the photograph for all of our sakes!!)


  • Dont use their nickname in front of their mates!


  • Never spit clean my child’s face in front of friends! My reply to them is to wash their face properly ;)


  • My kids warn me before dropping them off at school, to not kiss them goodbye in front of their freinds. They get so embarrassed.


  • My NICKNAME that mom gave is adorably cute BUT please confine it to HOME USAGE! Thanks mom! Signed, SON


  • Asked my son to hold my hand when crossing the road , lol his 12 year’s old now can’t help my self..!!


  • Ask kisses when he is hurry to go and play with his friends

  • Remembering what my parents used to do to me that was embarrassing…and not doing it ;)


  • No corny jokes to break the ice when meeting their new friends :)


  • No public displays of affection!


  • You don’t yell at them to come back and give you a kiss after dropping them at the school gate! Also don’t toot and wave as you are leaving – especially if they are with their mates!!


  • I donbt dress like an utter skank, i dress like a mother i still look nice but dont wear stuff that shows off all my bits


  • I hope my daughter see’s me as cool enough to chaperone her on school excursions or outings with her friends until she is able to be unchaperoned and can go out by herself. Not rousing on her in public if she has done something wrong and dealing with the issue at home or in the privacy of a car.


  • Refrain from yelling or screaming at them in public as that also embarrasses yourself!


  • Avoid embarrassing your kids by imagining how you’d feel if someone did that to you, and encourage their self-value so they won’t be embarrassed!


  • when going out to eat dont wipe ther mouth with a napkin you dont know who is looking


  • Don’t fix their hair in public =)
