  • Yep, Santa left me a cabbage patch doll under the tree one year. I thought she looked just like me just with a different name, Stephanie!

The dolls are so unique in appearance they would be a great way to teach my girl acceptance for all. They’d make excellent mummy’s.

  • Her name was Edith Polly I received my beautiful cabbage patch Xmas 1983 and I was bursting with happiness! I still have her today and will wait for my girls to get a little older before they can play with her!

  • I didn’t have a CPK,
    but that was ok!
    My daughter would adore one,
a friend to share her day.
    From the moment she wakes,
    to Kinder & ballet.
    All of life’s big adventures,
    until she hits the hay.
    With Christmas around the corner,
the perfect addition to Santa’s sleigh!

  • I didn’t have a Cabbage Patch Kid when I was little, but I would love to gift one to my young niece. I think she’s love a CP doll.

  • I would love for my girls to experience something I always wanted but mum could never afford, for them to love and care for their own Cabbage Patch Kid will make my void all worth it.

  • I was fortunate to have one her name was Amely. My favorite thing about her is that smell I always remember it. They have a special unique smell that lasts a lifetime.

  • Every Christmas I wished for a cabbage patch doll for me it is a sense of love, imagination and something to cherish for when my daughter may one day pass it onto her children. That’s why I want to gift her one.

  • I had a cabbage patch doll named Lucy and all I remember is my brother giving her a “haircut” and cutting all her hair off! I was devastated!

  • I was born in 1983 and at the age of 4, I was given my 1st Cabbage Patch Kid. I remember his name was Jeremy, but I wanted ‘him’ to be a girl, so i renamed him to Jessica, even though the birth certificate said otherwise!

  • I was too old for Cabbage Patch dolls, but now that I’m a grandmother (of sorts – my god-daughter has a daughter), I’d love nothing more than sharing Cabbage Patch joy with my 2-year-old god-granddaughter! After all, that’s what playing is all about – sharing joy!

  • Yes I did and I was lucky enough to have “twins” so I got a second doll. It taught me to care for my two toys and be responsible, unlike my brother and his boys. I’d love that for our girl, giving her pram a whirl!

  • I had one, I don’t remember its name but do remember the birth certificate and how sweet it was!

  • Gidget was my Cabbage Patch girls name. She had long pigtail blonde hair, blue eyes and wore this little green jump vest. She had the standard white shoes but I made little thongs for her out of cardboard with v-shaped jute twine. Nice memories.

  • I didn’t have one as a child but my eldest daughter did… I am not sure what she was called but she was a gorgeous doll with orange hair… I would love to be able to give my youngest daughter one.

  • I did have one as a kid but cant remember much about it, I remember I adored it and know my little girl would too

  • Of course i did my nanna brought it for me. It was my best friend and called Cabbie she went everwhere with me! My daughter would love one as well cause she is a little mother hehehe babies are her life!

  • I had a cabbage patch kid when I was about 12, a little later than most but my grandmother purchased one for all the granddaughter, her name was Rebecca and she’s still at my Mums home.

  • My mother used to beat me with a belt with a metal buckle until my legs bled. Then I had to stand in the corner for an hour. When the ordeal was over I would hug my Cabbage Patch doll (called Marina) and cry into her, making her quite wet.

  • I had a girl called Roberta, she wore a swimsuit and I took her in the bath most nights. Her legs and arms eventually fell off which was handy, as I was able to “dismember” her and sit her next to the heater post-bath to dry out in winter!

  • I grew up long before Cabbage Patch dolls but I was fortunate to have several dolls as a child ranging in sizes from 3 feet tall down to 9 inches. I loved to dress them. I think every little girl deserves a good size doll, not a skinny Barbie.
