10 lucky winners will receive Sue Series book sets valued at $53.

The Sue Series Book Sets help parents, carers and teachers to teach young children (aged 4-9 years) how to deal with emergencies, bullying and ‘stranger danger’.

Book Set #1: Numbers to Know – How to Use the Numbers 0-0-0

Book Set #2: Give Those Bullies ‘The Flick’

Book Set #3: Say ‘NO’ to Strangers

Created as a fun and simple 3-step process, these curriculum-friendly books are perfect tools for installing in small children the vital emotional and physical life skills needed for understanding and remembering the necessary steps, taking action, and following the steps through, (automatically and confidently), when faced with a serious situation – just like Sue in the Story Time books!

Each book title covers one topic taught as three separate stages using three different styles of books: 3 x 3 = 9 (books) per set:

Step One: Story Time book – introduces the topic at a child’s level in a fun and simple way (hard copy)

Step Two: Teaching Guide – teaches a child important details about what to do and why (hard copy)

Step Three: Learning Activities Set – reinforces with a child what has already been taught (40 pg. printable pdf file)

The complete Sue Series book set consists of (9) nine books and there are ten sets to be given away for this prize.

The new Sue Series Book sets will be available from the 14th of December, after completion of the very first print run.

Big Visions Downunder (Ros Hardy) is committed to making a positive difference to children’s lives through awareness, education and preparation, and increasing the number of children who have the courage, confidence and life skills needed to deal with serious situations, by helping little kids be BIG!

  • Say No to Strangers; my kids have a bad habit of speaking to people they don’t know; I know it shows confidence but unfortunately you don’t know who you can trust these days.

  • Say ‘No’ to strangers

  • Book 1, my 6 year old can read but she doesn’t seems to understand what she was reading. So hopefully book 1 will bring her back to basic so that she can enjoy and understand what she’s reading.

  • My 20 month old is just starting to count (such a clever little monkey) so I would read her Numbers to Know. She’d love it.

  • I would read to them Give those bullies ‘The Flick’

  • Numbers to Know
I am a teacher and really want my little lady to be the best she can be so we’re getting in SUPER early with educational books/toys to help her learn that learning is fun! It’s all about exposure and I’m going for early exposure!

  • Book Set 1 as being on a farm lots of things can go wrong (accidents and fires), they need to know how to call incase an adult is unable to.

  • Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Internationally known through films, books, characters in theme parks and Walt Disney outlets. As I child I grew up learning from my parents, at school and television ???? about these characters. Who could resist the seven dwarfs.

  • Say No To Strangers, as our kids need to know there is stranger danger everywhere.

  • ‘Say no to strangers’ would be the first, in todays society you cant trust anyone and I want to make sure my little nieces understand and take care of themselves…

  • Say no to strangers

  • Say no to strangers because safety is such a huge priority for little ones nowadays and we need to teach them to be alert and safe as early as possible

  • Give those bullies the flick

  • Numbers to Know because we spend so much time at home it would be great if she could call 000 in an emergency

  • Book 2 is relevant for my 7 year old granddaughter because at the end of last year she said she didn’t want to return to her school in 2017 because she had been bullied. The teachers were aware of it & reassured her parents they would nip it in the bud, but she stills fears there will still be problems in 2017.

  • “Give those bullies the flick”: this knowledge will benefit my kids for the rest of their lives, not only at school, & encourage them to be responsible human beings

  • Number to know and how to use them.

  • I work at a child care center and this set of books would be fantastic for my pre school room children! I’d start with book set one and go from there.

  • Charlotte’s Web because I adored that book when I was younger and I want them to love and treat animals well.

  • I would like to read to bullying one. I never know what advise to give and would love some tips!
