20 lucky winners will receive a $100 voucher for the next 30 Day Habit Challenge for Mums!

Join our 30 Day Habit Challenge where we bring you the science of habits and just how to beat those stubborn habits that get in the way of your health goals.

As it turns out, most people in today’s society often know what they need to move more and eat better but why, for such a smart well educated nation do we still struggle to beat our bad habits? Habits like the 3pm sugar hit, intending on getting to the gym but never quite getting there, or the old one wine that magically turns into three, which turns into a piece (ok a block) of chocolate? Overeat when bored? Indulge when stressed? The list goes on. These are habits… bad habits, that causing you to fail… every time. So, what can we do about it, a lot as it turns out.

Join Melitta Hardenberg, Chief Habit Breaker and learn the science of habits and just how to get yours broken.

  • Just can’t stop my sugar cravings – I’ll be back in a second, just have to have a lolly. See what I mean!!!

  • Skipping breakfast and over eating after that.

  • SUGAR – it’s an addiction and I need to learn to make it past 3pm without it…heeeeeelp!

  • Smoking, definitely smoking. I know how bad it is for me, and my kids are always complaining about it, but I just have not been able to kick this bad habit.

  • I’ve given up alcohol, cigarettes and sex there’s nothing left but I can give it to some friends :)

  • An 11am snack,
Then I’m never hungry when lunchtime attacks!
    It needs to stop,
Otherwise in Summer I won’t look hot!

  • wasting so much time online!

  • Eating chocolate past 9pm. I always say I’ll stop, but it’s so tempting not to have a little nibble every night!

  • Probably not doing enough exercise as each time I think of something else to do,so I must try.

  • Nail biting! I would love to have lovely nails to paint :(

  • I need to break my sugar habit! I need to break it for the obvious reason: weightloss. I have children, my youngest is 15 months old and I need to break the habit of running to the cupboard eating sugary food as soon as they are asleep.

  • I want to break the habit of not breaking my habits! Every time I set out to get healthy I last only several weeks before I turn back to my usual ways… please help me break this habit!

  • I have a bad habit of being really focused on my fitness and then just binging on junk food I feel awful about myself afterwards and it really affects my self esteem

  • I want to break the bad habit of snacking chocolates, chips, more chocoloates and more chips, late at night after the kids fast asleep because I want healthier solutions

  • I would like to break the habit of smoking and using my phone as I don’t want my kids to have these habits

  • My everyday habit of two glass of wine; one whilst cooking dinner and one with dinner and then a chocolate treat in the evening while watching TV. I’d also like to begin a habit of daily walks. All would help me lose weight but I need encouragement.

  • I would love to break the habit of sitting around on devices and forgetting to finish some housework. Also picking up the phone to contact people

  • Eating chocolate at night with a cup of tea is my ‘bad habit’… ‘We can do alot about it’? Really?
Fill me in… as I look forward to an indulgent treat… at least that’s what I consider it :) In the meantime I try to get my kids to eat healthy snacks… although they are unaware of what mum really prefers to eat!

  • Binge eating. I enjoy eating and love food. This is the best way to release stress. I’m good all the time but binge eat when I am alone. After that I feel guilty. I’ve tried but unable to get rid of this bad habit.

  • My addiction to food for comfort. My weight spiralled out of control when I gain 56kg after the birth of my son. I have lost 43kg but still have 24.4 to go. I need help to change for good so my kids don’t ever have to face the same struggle
